I'm looking for DB2 V7 release . So far , I've been only able to
retrieve V8 personal edition on IBM ftp .
So does anyone know where I can find a v7 release ...

Version 7 is no longer supported. You should try version 8, install any of
the later FixPaks and you have a try and buy license. ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/db2/fixes2/

I know but the client is still on a 7.x version and due to that I need
this older version .
