Message i db2diag.log from 'oper system services sqloPostIPCWait Post'

Today no users was able to connect to the database, I could not list applications, list active databases, nor could I execute 'db2stop force'. We had to restart the database server and db2 performed a successful crash recovery. Now all seems to be alright again. But what I can see from the db2diag.log is a lot of these messages:

2005-03-16-07.15.35.562000 Instance:DB2 Node:000
PID:1704(db2sys cs.exe) TID:4336 Appid:*LOCAL.DB 2.016445095031
oper system services sqloPostIPCWait Post Probe:40 Database:XDKE00

Unexpected system error 0x6 has occurred.
This has been mapped to ZRC 0x83000006.

PID:1704 TID:4336 Node:000 Title: SYSTEM ERROR DESCRIPTION
The handle is invalid.

Anyone know what these could tell me about what was wrong ?

There could be couple of reasons for such messages
1) Check with the db2 client levels.
2) Check whether the remote client did not disconnect in proper fashion
3) Check if all the semaphore connection are released as part of your
db2stop.

Hello, I am running DB2 version v8.1.3.88 on a Sun v40z server running RedHat Linux AS 4 kernel version 2.6.9. My problem is that the db2diag.log file is growing without bounds (I just deleted a 1.7 terabytes file!). I have tried setting the DIAGLEVEL parameter to low values (even to zero), but that did not solve the problem. The error that keeps being copied to db2diag.log is the following:

Does anyone have any suggestions for securing against this vulnerability: http://nvd.nist.gov/nvd.cfm?cvename=CVE-2007-1027 Fixes are not yet available from IBM. They will be in FP2 for V9 and FP15 for V8. Would changing the permissions on the db2dump directory so that only instance owner has access be enough?

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
