Hello,
I am trying to find a way to create a scheduled task or
service that will copy my local profile folders
under "Documents and settings" to a network drive. This
would allow me to restore my settings if my profile became
tampered with or corrupt. Is there any sample code
available out there?

I have a need to become familiar with SQL Server 2000 for work.
Needless to say I am new to SQL Server any version, but not IT in
general. My employer has provided me with the SQL Server 2000
Personal disk from the SQL Server 2000 Enterprise kit as this is
reported here on the MSDN web site to be the version that is supported
on Windows XP. ...

A tale of woe, and a question . . .
Last week my boss said to me "we've installed DB2 Connect on this
Solaris box. Make it work."
Now, I've barely seen DB2 Connect on Windows, having fumbled thru one
install and config, with a lot of handholding from IBM Support. I'm
comfortable in unix but have never dealt with DB2 Connect there. (my...

Having trouble installing my 180 day Visual Studio 2005 trial disk.
The CD that was sent is actually a DVD not a CD. My home PC only has a CD
drive.
I attempted to install on an external drive using a work PC with a DVD drive
and then use the external drive from my home PC. Unfortunately the install
process puts files on the hard drive of the...

I think I'm going nuts! I have a perfectly fine exe assembly built with
Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition. When executed from my local hard
drive it runs as exactly as expected. However, when trying to launch it from
a network drive it just won't run. One suggestion I saw was to start the
"Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Wizards" and run...

I created a setup.exe/setup.msi installer using Visual Studio for my C#
application, then copied it over to the network for others to use.
It installs fine and the application works like it is supposed to. However,
whenever someone then launches the app from the shortcut that I had my setup
application placed on the desktop, it looks like...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
