I get an error installing beta2 on a VPC - clean XP pro drive. The beta2
came via DVD from Microsoft, so this isn't a downloaded and burnt copy.
The error is Error 1310. Error writing to file:
Microsoft.VisualStudio.QualityTools.Resource.dll. Verify that you have
access to that directory.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I just downloaded and unzipped the new Fixpack 9 for DB2 ESE V8 for
Windows (FP9_WR21350_ESE.exe). I then burned the unzipped Fixpack
files to a CD. I proceded to install this Fixpack on a test machine
running ESE but encountered a serious error during the install. It
started 'copying new files' but then stopped cold and displayed a
dialog box asking me to "Please insert disk 1". (It all fit on one
CD!) I clicked OK...

I've created an ASP.NET installer using Visual Studio's "Web Setup Project"

Hi
When I try to install a published app using a url like
http://www.mydomain.com/publish.htm, it starts the download but then comes
up with the eror given at the end below. I am installing the app on an sbs
2003 (windows 2003 + ISA 2000) server. I suspect ISA 2000 is the problem but
don't know where and how to give proxy credentials in the whole publishing
and installing process. Any help to fix this will be appreciated.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
