dms, index destroyed, pls help

Hi, there's a db with 32 partitions. on the 22nd partition, all the index is
located on a dms device container. due to some man-made mistakes, the data
on the container is totally destroyed. then the access to the tables with
indexes all went wrong... how can I deal with it?

the whole db size is about 13T...

thanks in advance:)

As best as I know, tables where the dataST be rolled forward within the
same command.
As all tablespaces must bi in RF state, I think your only resort is to
take your most recent backup (db or tablepsace), restore both the
tablespaces of the data and index and then roll both forward in the same
command to end of logs.
Restore and rollforward have been designed to take care of man-made
mistakes and are a great help to recover from acts of god!!!!

Hi Folks, If I have an array holding a pair of numbers, and that pairing is unique, is there a way that I can find the array index number for that pair? Thanks, PhilC

Hi, I am finding that outside the foreach loop my $i index does not exist anymore, eventhough I defined it beforehand. This does not seem logical. Is there a reason behind this? Thank you in advance, Louis.

Hello, I have a page that creates a class, and then on certain conditions, redirects user to another page. The class has a Class_Terminate() function that saves itself to a database. The class comes from an includes ASP file, it isn't a COM object. Here's my code outline (not actual code for brevity - in otherwords, there may be syntax errors, but that's not the cause of the problem)

Hello, I have a few rather urgent questions that I hope someone can help with (I need to figure this out prior to a meeting tomorrow.) First, a bit of background: The company I work for is developing a web-based application, one part of which involves allowing the user the ability to page through transaction "history" information. The _summary_ history table will have the following fields: ServiceName, Date, User-Ref1, User-Ref2,...

Hi, I have a very specific problem that perhaps some of the smart people here can figure out. I have a site based on PHP with some Java applets on it. The session variables are being destroyed prematurely. We are running Apache2 with PHP 5. On the site, there is a PHP session variable that holds login information. If you go to any page on the site, the session variables remain intact... except the pages with Java applets. Every one...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
