db2.->pam ldap -> edirectory

Hi,

My first Question: can db2 (db2ckpw) ask over pam_ldap my edirectory
ldap server for user authentication?

The scenario: 1. computer suse linx enterprise server 8(SLES8) and
edirectory 7.8.3
2. computer sles8 db2 with pam_ldap ( the user
authentication on kde, on ssh, radius with ladp ...
works fine. I see all user with getent passwd (local
and ldap).

Use the db2 server directly the file passwd and shaddow?

If i test the authentication from the db2 against a edirectory-ldap-user
and it comes a error that the username and or Password failt.

If no way to ldap authentication, give it a Way to authenticate against
my kerberos-edirectory-interface?

I recently installed pam_auth on my server as a standalone module so I could have people login to areas of my site using their Linux (cPanel) login and password, but am having problems. It seems regardless of whether or not the login/password combination are correct, the pam_auth module returns a "Permission Denied" or "Authentication...

I would like my application to be able to authenticate through PAM. Is there any code out there that implements this? All I could find was PyPAM (http://www.pangalactic.org/PyPAM/), which doesn't look like it has been touched in almost 6 years and requires python1.5.

Sorry for the repeat post...I'm not sure if my first post (on May 30th) went through or not. I've been trying to write a PAM module using ctypes. In the conversation function (my_conv in the script below), you're passed in a pam_response** pointer. You're supposed to allocate an array of pam_response's and set

I'm running python 2.5 (or 2.4) in an XP environment. I downloaded and installed the .dll's from OpenLDAP-2.4.8+OpenSSL-0.9.8g-Win32.zip and copied the .dll's in c:/windows/system32 as instructed now I get this error. Is there anyway to avoid building the python_ldap binaries? Apart from being lazy, I've got a secure system policy issue if...
