Hello,
I couldn't find an obvious answer to this in the FAQ. My basic question,
is: Is there any difference in allocating on the heap versus the stack? If
heap or stack implementation is not part of the standard, then just
disregard this question. Here's some questions I'm confused about, and if
you can add anything else, please do so!

Hello,
I recently wrote an application that is used for testing units in a
burn-in chamber. It uses two external library that require the use of
P\Invoke in order to work with them. There is a primary thread and a
secondary polling thread. Every once in a while the process will
consume close to 100% of the CPU, but I am unclear why. I am...

Hello
I have an ASP.NET application that just keeps leaking memory. The memory
used by the application just keeps growing until the ASP.NET worker process
is recycled when the memory limit is reached. I looked at the performance
data and here is what I found:
ASP.NET Requests Total : 28462 (Keeps increasing)
ASP.NET Requests/Sec: 2 (5...

application heap to process
the statement. SQLSTATE=57011
After viewing other posts, they recommended changing the applheapsz
(which was completed). We have restarted DB2. The query is not too
complex. The interesting point is that we ran the query yesterday
with no...

Hello, I am running DB2 V8.2 on AIX. I am looking for a way to get
the memory size of a specific db2 agent. I have found the db2mtrk
tool that gives me a list of all the applications and heap sizes.
Also there is "DB2 Snapshot for Application" but I am looking for a
way to capture the data for C code without having to parse through a
file. ...

The purpose of the Insert function is to add a new integer in the Heap assuming that it is not already full. If Heap capacity has been reached, it attempts to double the current capacity. If capacity cannot be doubled, it throws FullHeap.
Here is the Heap.h file
const int MAXSIZE = 4; // Default maximum heap size

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
