I have trying to code a small console app that will
allow a user to select a window and then create a
screen capture of the window. I haven't been able to
figure out how to do the screen capture part. The
code is as follows, the commented out lines at the end
are things I have tried, but don't work. Whenever I
try to create a compatibe Bitmap or DC it comes back
with an error as
win32ui: CreateCompatibleDC failed

Hi,
I've tried creating a capture graph twice for the same camera device in the same program. But, the second time I try to create graph for the device, Im getting an error at the "RenderStream" method. The creation of GraphFilter, etc., is all going fine, but, the "RenderStream" method always gives an error, be it for Preview or for Capture.
This does not occur if I select another camera connected to the system, while running the second...

Greetings.
I encountered a wield problem when grabing screen images.
Sometimes in some computers I can capture the screen, but other times not
so.
In some computer I cannot capture the screen image, but when I change its
color bits, say from 32bits to 24 or 16bits, the program can capture the
image.
Can anyone kindly examine my following code, and point out the flaw:

I am importing text files and using the data to create the records for a table with keys.
If the user tries to import the same files twice, they get the huge error message that includes 'can't append all the records'. I know this is due to duplicate keys.
What I would like to do is capture that message before it goes to the user and give them a more friendly message like 'You have already imported this data'.

I am in the process of installing DB2 Replication V 8.2 for Z/os on my
test system. When I start the ASNSTRC (capture) with RRS shutdown, it
switches to CAF and starts up. However, if I have RRS runing , then it

I am attempting to set up Q Capture on RH Linux (x86_64) using DB2 9 fp2, but
there seems to be a general problem loading a specify MQ shared library
"/opt/mqm/lib/libmqm_r.so". I have MQ v6 installed in the default directory
and working.
I can generate the similar errors in two ways (1) through the Replication
Center attempting to validate the Q objects and (2) after manually creating
the Q objects and running the asnqcap program.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
