Anyone know a good way to embed python within python?
Now before you tell me that's silly, let me explain
what I'd like to do.
I'd like to allow user-defined scriptable objects. I'd
like to give them access to modify pieces of my classes.
I'd like to disallow access to pretty much the rest of
the modules.

Hi, there.
Thanks for any help that can be offered. I've been working with Python for
a year or more now, but only doing simple extending in C/C++. I'm now
attempting some embedding and several questions have come to mind.
BTW - I'm running Windows 2000 with Python23 and VisualC++ developers

I am new to python and wish to embed python in an 3D graphics
application to provide application automation. The high level goal is to
be able to drive my app from a script for batch job like behavior rather
than via the GUI (ie. I would like to run a script and see those changes

I have a number of self-composed songs in mp3 format which are linked
to their individual titles with <a href... The problem with this
coding is that the songs open in a new window containing the media
player transport control. I've tried embedding, but this is not
suitable for multiple files. Ideally, I'd like visitors to have

Is there any way that a literal can be used for a field value in the
load statement?
The context is fixed-length record formats, db2 8.1 ese, aix 5.1. I'm
performing warehouse and mart loads within korn shell and python - and
everything's been working great - but now I want to add a batch
identifier to all the rows in each load. This identifier is
incremented for each load, but every row in a load file gets the same
value.

of doing "case" behavior just to get some performance information. Now
two of my test cases had almost identical results which was not at all
what I expected. Ultimately I realized I don't really know how
literals are treated within the interpreter.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
