Dump Files?

I have a bunch of old *.000 files in the \SQLLIB\DB2 directory. Those are
just dump files that I can get rid of with no effect to the system, right?

Deleting them would not affect your system. However, they might still be
useful for problem determination unless the original problem has been
resolved.

Ok, thanks. I also noticed that there are some *.0 files, are those dump

I was wondering if anyone has heard of problems with the Export utility writing dump files on stripe-sets. I'm not sure if the stripe-set is configured correctly or not, but everytime I place my dump file on this set, I can't import it. I always get errors/crashes. I appreciate your help. Cheers. Kevin

Hi, I am currently having a problem with random, intermittent lock ups in my ASP.net application on our production server (99% CPU usage by 3 threads, indefinately). I currently use IIS Debug Tools to do a memory dump of the app when the lock up occurs, however the stack information is not very useful. I have just put a new build of our system onto production, and this build is a "Debug" build as opposed to a "Release" build. I am...

I'm trying to find the way to create and debug dumpfile of dotnet application. Any recommendation of articles, tools for creating dump file + debug it are appreciated. The documentation I found recommends using mscordmp.exe - The documentation does not specify file extension for the dump file - The documentation does not specify how to decide what will be included in the dump file

Hello all, I'm fairly new to access database(s), but I work a lot with mysql. I was wondering if there is a script file out there that I can get a hold of that will create a dump file. I need to be able to backup this data nightly and would like it if the script file could name the file with that days date (so each dump file would be unique). I thank you for any help that you might be able to provide. A

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
