db2 connect with no response

On one of our NT server, we have db2 runtime client installed and need
to connect to remote db2 database on AIX.

I have successfully configured the db2 connect alias using db2
configuration assistance.

But I got the problem actually access the database. We I fire db2
command line process, I only get the normal db2 command window. When I
type into db2, there are so further db2 prompt. There is no response
regardless whatever I have typed into the db2 command window.

I went db2 commnad center (graphic), there are no response (output) to
any command I typed into. I select option, then output, then display
SQLCODE. When I type in connect to database command, in the result
panal, I got -7016.

Do you know why this happened, what I need to do to work around the
problem?

Thanks!

My machine is Windows XP with Oracle 9.2 Home; IIS and Oracle are in the same box. I have tried both Oracle OLEDB Provider and Microsoft ODBC For Oracle, but both not working. For Microsoft ODBC For Oracle approach, I added a data source in Oracle Data Source Administrator, in System DSN tab, I created a system data source named OracleDSN with Microsoft ODBC for Oracle.

Hello, I am getting no response when trying to connect to one of our databases. The funny thing is that it only happens when trying to connect using a specific user. Other users are able to connect. For example: this connects: CONNECT TO MYDB USER ABC this just hangs (no response): CONNECT TO MYDB USER XYZ

This error occurs in the applications global.asa file where I'm trying to set up a connection pool: <object runat="Server" scope="Application" id="oSession"...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
