1 New Member
HELLO THERE! MY NAME IS ALKIS ,I AM 14 YEARS OLD AND I COME FROM GREECE!

I HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE IN PROGRAMMING .

I ALREADY KNOW HTML(4) A LOT OF CSS AND I MIGHT SAY NEARLY PERFECT JAVASCRIPT.(BASICS OF PYTHON AND PHP)

I RECENTLY STARTED LEARNING C++ (THE BASICS I HAVE REACHED THE TUTORIAL ABOUT CLASSES) AND I WANT TO BE INFORMED OF THE PROS AND CONS OF JAVA AND C++ . I'VE BEEN READING SOME POSTS ABOUT WHAT LANGUAGE TO START WITH AND GOT CONFUSED SOME ARTICLES SAID THAT I SHOULD START WITH JAVA BECAUSE THIS IS THE FUTURE'S PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE AND C++ IS DEAD.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

YOU MAY CONTACT ME WITH AN EMAIL TOO.<sniiped>

I AM SORRY IF I'VE DONE ANY MISTAKES IN MY GRAMMAR BEACAUSE AS I MENTIONED BEFORE I COME FROM GREECE

I would say Java and C++ are both good languages to know so take your pick.

C++ is not dead, that majority of the worlds operating systems are written in C/C++ posturing about which language is or isn't dead is fairly pointless.

Java can't exist without C/C++ since most implementations its JVM are currently written in C.
