How to hide a Dos session running a batch file that calls a C++ exe program

Platform : windows 7

I have a batch file 'test.bat' that includes a C++ program 'testc.exe'.
when I run the batch file, a DOS session is created.
Is there a way to hide the DOS session?

Thanks,

Sam

Have you considered opening it in a minimised window? I'm pretty sure it's not possible straightforwardly (and certainly not advisable) to open it without any way to see that it's running or be able to interact with it.
