Does MinGW (GCC compilers) support Microsoft Structured Error Handling (SEH)?

20 New Member
Hello everyone,

I am a very big fan of the MinGW port but ran into problems trying to write a program that used Structured Error Handling code (__Try/__Except).

Could someone tell me whether or not MinGW (i.e. GCC compilers, either gcc or g++) support SEH?

Thanks,

Mark,

Structured error handling is fully supported by the Gnu C++ compiler.

Forget the macros, the keywords are "try" and "catch".

Also, you might look in the specification, there are now standard error classes in stl, as well. They're not mandatory, like the java.lang.Throwable class in Java; but they're reasonable.

Take a look at the include file: <exception>
