Random Program Idea Thread

Post all your random and cool program ideas.
Perfect place for people to find inspiration.
Anything from beginner to complex.
Make it quite vague or provide some guidelines.

_ Program to find out how many seconds it would take to get to various
planets.

_ Program to give you percentages based on statistic values how good
of a chance you have to win your state lottery.

_ Program that divides the screen into equal squares and associates a
sound with a click inside each square.

_ Program that brute forces lock combinations... say you know 1/4 of
the numbers add those to the permutations.

_ Program that gives you the amount of water to make an object of X
volume sink.

So the ideas you were given in the thread "Staying Motivated"
weren't any good then?
