strcpy + memory leak ???????????

Hi ,

With the following case would this cause a memory leak in C. ???

char str[14];
strcpy(string,"0")

I assume you meant the variable names to be the same
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.    char string[14];
  2.    strcpy(string,"0");
  3.  
using strcpy() should be no problem so long as there is sufficent room in the destination array (as in this case). However, it is recommended to use strncpy() where you can check for sufficent room in the destination array
