Red eye correction

I'm looking for information on how to do red-eye correction. But
can't find any information on it? Do any of you know where i
can find information or examples?

Your question has nothing to do with the C++ standard but rather with
algorithms for image processing. You should ask in a appropriate
newsgroup for image processing and when you have concrete problems
implementing the algorithm in C++, you can ask here.

Your problem has nothing to do with the language C++, but a
special algorithm.

Please ask for the algorithm in a image/photo processing or
maybe an algorithm newsgroup. Or google for something like
"red eye correction algorithm".

Then, when you have the algorithm try to implement it. If
you have problems with the implementation then can ask here
again.

I suggest you use some eye drops and take a break from your C++ code.
Staring at a monitor all day isn't good for the eyes.

Oups! I did a typing error in my last post. Fixed. ----------- Hello all, We are currently changing our web server and, in the process, updating PHP version from 4.3.0 to 4.3.5. The problem we've got is that our way to include some files in other ones is no more working properly. The message we are getting looks like: "PHP Warning: main(..\db.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in ..."

Hello: I am new to web app programming, but need to create a web app. I would like to do it in Python After extensive googling, reading news groups, blogs, and outdated / incomplete "web app shoot outs" that don't seem to come to any conclusion, I came across a number of alternatives, but my limited knowledge in this field prevents me from seeing the virtues of one framework over the other. The ones I saw were:

here's a interesting real-world algoritm to have fun with. attached below is the Perl documentation that i wrote for a function called "reduce", which is really the heart of a larger software. The implementation is really simple, but the key is to understand what the function should be. I'll post Perl and Python codes tomorrow for those interested. If you are a perl programer, try to code it in Python. (it's easy.)

Hi! I really need to understand what is so-called browser error correction mechanisms. Can you explain this? I read somewhere (and I no longer can find where I read that) that browsers try to render as best as they can elements (and/or attribute too? can't remember) that they ignore. e.g.: I know that fieldset will be rendered as a block level element in NS 4.7+, almost just like div.

All, how do I describe a string consisting of any number of characters, with an optional (but unique when occuring) end-of-line expression '/'? With groups if possible, as in "(?<sentence>.*(?<eos>{1}$)?)" Say I have the phrase 'My Taylor is /' as input; I'd like 'sentence' and 'eos' to match. Now if I have 'My Taylor is //' or 'My Taylor is / ', 'sentence' should

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
