I have an application that works correctly in debug mode but it does
not work in release.
I am not using anything of the class system.diagnostics.
I tried to disable the optimization code, but this did not work
please I need a solution quickly!!.

We have an application which uses some mixed-mode code to expose a .NET 1.1
managed API. Only the necessary files are compiled with /clr.
We want to be able to load the application without .NET present, and then
just disable the API.
But we are not even able to give an error message when we start the
application without mscoree.dll present. We have tried delay-loading
mscoree.dll, but that did not help because the OS loader (at least on...

Hi,
We currenly have two users working on an asp.net application.
One user is experiencing the same problem all the time.
When he tries to change the Active Solution Configuration in the Build
Manager (Debug or Release), whatever is chosen does not change.
For example, if the project is in release mode and he logs in with VS.net
and tries to change it to debug mode and then build or rebuild, nothing
changes.

We developed a set of ASP.NET Web Applications that never runs in
stand-alone mode, but always inside a portal (Rainbow Portal). All modules
are copied on that portal.
My question is: load time takes, sometimes, three or four of minutes in
a medium-level machine (a PIII 1.5 Ghz), when the binary contents are
changed, or if the time of last modification of the web.config file is
changed.

Hi,
I have a C# Windows application that reads a bunch of PDF files and append
them together. Basically it does it by reading a first 2 PDF files, append
them and save the result as a PDF file. Then append the 3rd PDF to this
result and save. Then the 4th one and save and so on... In total it can be
appending up to 50 PDF files, each with file size ranges between 10 to over
50MB.
It runs fine when it's built in Debug mode. But when...

I have an application written in VB.Net that comsumes a webservice.
We are having issues with speed. I have not ruled out a webservice problem,
and this was my first guess. However when running through my application in
release mode the application's (assemblyname.vhost.exe) memory usage

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
