That's nice, but it has nothing to do with the C++ programming language.

There is no such function in the standard C++ language library. This is a
Microsoft-specific library function. You have a better chance of getting
help for your problem by asking on a more appropriate microsoft.* newsgroup.

I have no idea how to get started, really, but I am looking for a way to have an email sent via an ASP page via our Exchange 2000 server. I have a fairly simple asp page that displays data from a SQL 2000 database in the form of web links. A part of this page allows people to post links to the database for display. When someone posts a link, I would like an email sent to me with the data (link) that they posted through the ASP page. ...

Hello, I have a problem restoring Exchange 2000 files. Our software has an interface to ESEBCLI2.dll for online backup and restore features. Everything works fine with Exchange 2003 and also when backing up Exchange 2000, yet restoring Exchange 2000 gives some problems: A Store is restored: * the restore is started.

Is there a way, with VS 2005 and FX 2.0, to read a given inbox? I need to write a 'monitor' program and my boss is convinced, as is always his first gut reaction, that we need to go buy a 3rd-party package to just read an inbox. He may be right this time, but that's not usually my first gut reaction--we've had too many good employees around here fired 'cause they spent too much money on albatross software (another soapbox, sorry). I need...

MSSQL Server 2000 SP3 in both houston and memphis I have a database in houston, lets call it RED. Specific tables from database RED are copied to database BLUE. Database BLUE is then backed up, ftp'd to memphis and restored. In memphis there is a single table in this database that will not open in enterprise manager when you choose to open all rows you get a generic ODBC timeout error no numbers just simply "TIMEOUT". If I log...

Hello. Occasionally on my production server when I run an automated script to restore a database from a backup it hangs and the database is put in restoring mode and just stays there, requiring me to delete the database and restore the backup manually and causing everything else to timeout (it's part of an update process that includes database and web files). The code is called from a VB.Net DLL against the Master database and is as...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
