I use the newsgroup mainly via my Web browser and Google.
Over the last few days, when I click on a link to a thread, I've been
frequently getting the message "Unable to find thread."
Does anybody know what's going on?

Any insight is appreciated.

I receive the following error when I post a webpage:
"Unable to validate error" - System.Web.HTTPException.
The web page is an ASP WebForm page. I have a few controls on the page
that when selected (e.g. ASP.NET calendar control, HTML radio/option
buttons), a postback occurs.
In addition, I have a input button, that when clicked, initiates a HTTP Post
Request.
Notably the input button utilizes client side javascript to change the

I am stuck on this. It ought to be a simple reason as to why this is
problematic, in that it works on smaller groups of data (say under 40
records), but doesn't on larger groups of records (40+).
I'm displaying 9 columns in a datagrid, and have a radiobutton at the top of
the page that says Web, Excel & Word. Web is selected by default. If you
click one of the other two buttons, this code is executed:

Our ASP.NET (VB) is generating sporadic "Unable to validate data" and
"Invalid length for a Base-64 char array" errors.
The production environment is two Windows 2000 Advanced Servers in a web
farm. The <machinekey> web.config element has its validationKey (128 char
hex) and decryptionKey attributes set. They are identical on both web
servers.
I believe the error is related to the viewstate due to similar postings on
the Net. ...

Hi,
I'm building quiet a large webapplication (CMS) in ASP.NET. On localhost
the application runs fine. For publishing we use 2 hosting providers at
the moment (let's call those 'A' and 'B'). Hosting provider A doesn't
give any problems and the application runs just fine. On hosting
provider B there are some problems, and I just can't figure it out =(.
My users login using FormsAuthentication. After clicking through the

I wrote a small c# winform app to migrate some user info from one DB to another. The application works jsut fine but when I use the web application now it bombs trying to read the users password with "Unable to validate data". This is from the Membership class.
In the exe's aspp.config I have the same machinekey as the web applications web.config so their shouldn't be an encryption issue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
