Hi all,
Kindly need your attention here.
Let say, -
n = 0; // number of corner points detected
-
if (......)
-
{
-
corner_list[n].x = j; //x coordinate
-
corner_list[n].y = i; //y coordinate
-
n++;
-
:
-
:
-
}
-
"m7.pgm"-->attached
This is the image and the marking at the contour are the detected points.
"m-004-1.pgm"-->attached
I want to get only the left most and right most points as corner. How can i write the codes to keep only these 2 corner points for every image?
From the left side, we can see there are two points with the same x-coordinate. From the right there are 3 or 4 points at the same x-coordinate.
How can we program to choose the most middle position for the left most and right most corner points?
Please help or give some ideas.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Tommy

I certainly hope nobody would open a zip file from an internet site, but just in case someone would, I have removed the ones you have posted. Please post text or image files as attachments, not zips.
I suppose if .zip file is allowed to be uploaded in this forum, i can't understand why it has been removed. My original images are in .pgm which is not supported in this forum. I can certain you that, there are lot of people will open the zip file. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion, i have converted the images into bmp. Thanks again.

I suppose if .zip file is allowed to be uploaded in this forum, i can't understand why it has been removed.
Because the software for this site allows it, that does not mean the site does. However, that is a good point, and I will add it to the Suggestions forum.
Anyone can help in solving this problem?

I am just trying to print/report the results of a "filter by
selection" which is done by right-clicking a form, filling in values,
and "applying the filter."
I have searched the newsgroups, and there are many examples. BUT, they
fail sometimes.
The techique is to pass the form's Me.filter as the "where condition"
in a
Docmd.openreport statement in code behind a "print button" on the
form.

I've designed a form which contains 6 of combos. Three on the left are
set up to select fields from a query, three on the right are set up to
select values from the corresponding field selected on the left.
I use these combos to dynamically create a filter string to apply to my
main form. It all works fine as long as I select text fields using
quotation marks. My question is how do I handle different data types

Hello all! :)
I have a bit of a problem.. kind of!
I have a table with several columns, of course, and most of them are searchable. Basically what I did, was if you entered any text, it would search all the items in the table and return everything. So If I searched for Jessica, I would get Jessica under Staff, possible Jessica under Group, etc etc.
But what I want is to also be able to type, GEP Jessica, and for groups that ONLY...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
