I don't think it's quite on-topic here, but neither in in
comp.os.linux.d evelopment.syst em - so here it goes anyways.
I'm debugging code which is in use on many remote systems. The code is
available in source and always compiled at the target's system. Every
now and then it crashes, giving me a core dump.
Here's the problem: Even though I'm sent the binary file (including
debugging symbols, of course) and the core file, I cannot debug symbols
in the C library. Obviously, they are very different on my system. So
how can one get that done?

Hi All,
I am using g++ on Linux, and my code has lot of vectors each stores a
particualr type of structure. (Structure internally had some vectors).
When I am trying to push_back an element to a one of the vectors in
the parent strutcure, it always core dumps on Linux and HP. On Solaris
the same code is working fine without any problem.

I've two questions, they may or may not be related -
1. I copied the entire data directory from postgreSQL 7.3.2 (AIX4.3)
to the installation postgreSQL 7.3.4 (AIX5.1), the same filesystem
setup. I didn't do an dump/reload process
since the copy process is faster.
