No one is forcing you to come to this forum. You elected to come here of your own free will. If you cannot abide by our rules, then do not visit our forums. It is that simple. There is no need to tell us we are 'useless' because we don't operate based on your rules.

Interesting...t his forum is useless because it doesn't help you cheat. Both lazy and shameless I see.

EDIT: You got cold cash to offer for this job? Because why would someone do your work for you?

Is Ganon psychic or something? Before his reply #3 the op had only posted one
single post, this one. I can't find the term 'useless' in that first post while Ganon
already mentioned it in his reply #3. What's going on here?

kind regards,

Jos

1) Yes, I am psychic. But I didn't use my psychic powers here.
2) Magic was used here to clear up some unwanted, immature posts.
3) I think there's some sort of 'Delete' action involved somewhere here.

I deleted posts that I felt were not... relevant... to the thread.

I will be deleting this thread in a few days if the OP doesn't come back, as it lends no value to the community (hence the subscribing.... ).

Ah, ok, a bit of cursing and faul language which was removed I guess. I'm out of
here then; thanks for the warning.

kind regards,

Jos

Hi folks, I have been mulling over an idea for a very simple python-based personal document management system. The source of this possible solution is the following typical problem: I accumulate a lot of files (documents, archives, pdfs, images, etc.) on a daily basis and storing them in a hierarchical file system is simple but unsatisfactory:

Hi! I need to create some simple charts with python. A list contains integers between 0 and mymax. I want to see how the values are distributed (How many are 0, how many are mymax, ...). The result should be a small (200x200) png file. I searched a bit:

A little off topic this one because the database may not be written in Access. I am just looking for some advice.. I have an idea to help prevent a particular type of crime, a database will be involved in storing and analysing information. The idea is quite a simple one and once disclosed would be easy, with reasonable technical know-how, to set-up. Police forces all over the country could use my system, but I want to approach the...

Hello, I have a couple of classes where I teach introductory programming using Python. What I would love to have is for the students to go through a lot of very small programs, to learn the basic programming structure. Things like, return the maximum in a list, making lists with certain patterns, very simple string parsing, etc. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time to grade such things by hand, so I would like to automate it as much...

Hi, My application creates a project that is structured like a tree, so i want to use a treeview to display it to the user. Would it be a good idea to create the various parts of project as classes inherited from TreeNode and then just add them to the treeview (ie adding extra properties to the inherited classes to hold my data)? This would make outputting the project as an xml file very simple as i could just traverse the treeview and...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
