Is there another way to output?

2 New Member
Good day all,

Is there another way to output?
For example, if I am trying to output something, do I always have to put it in this form?

cout<< "output" <<endl;

Are there any other ways?

Good day:

1. You can use and 'outfile', so instead of sending the output to the screen (what cout does), it goes to a file on your hard-drive.
2. It seems your new to programming, so in a few weeks you'll reach that section.
3. Let us say you make an interactive program such as a calculator, where someone has to enter two numbers to get the total. You can use 'cls' along with 'printf to print out ONLY the answers to the screen/outfile.
4. I'm new myself...so the pro's may provide additional information.'

There are a few different ways, I would recommend Googling 'C++ IO', as in addition to cout, there are other functions that use the standard out as well.

I often have the need to run templates that perform the equivalent of a mail merge as part of the processing for another page. For example, I have an invoice display page in my admin module and hten need to send a prepared message (such as a declined order email) to the invoicee, which consists of a merge letter. Server.Transfer() doesn't do the trick, as it leaves the current page and doesn't return. I could do this but this is quite a...

Even asking this question probably demonstrates that I have a fundamental misunderstanding of how values and references work in C#, but here goes: I'd like to assign a reference to an arbitrary class member to another class member, so that I can later mutate the stored reference. I'd like to use this for an undo function - basically, when you make a change to a class member value, you call SaveMemberValue() to store the reference and...

I am working on a simple script to read from one database (oracle) and write to another (postgresql). I retrieve the data from oracle in chunks and drop the data to postgresql continuously. The author of one of the python database clients mentioned that using one thread to retrieve the data from the oracle database and another to insert the data into postgresql with something like a pipe between the two threads might make sense, keeping...

Hi All, I've found a post in google group about this problem but unfortunately, there was no answer. Sorry to ask again but maybe the initial poster has a fix now. The problem we have with our .net application is that sometimes the output page contains part of other pages that are being called by another user using the same server (but with a different login).

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
