Hi all,
I implemented a stack in C++ in 2 different ways and I'd like to know
which approach is better than the other.. and if there is any
difference between the two? I'd also like to know if the destructor
i'm using is correct.. I got segmentation fault in my second approach
while I quit the program. I appreciate any help....
My first appoach goes like this:

I have spent the past few weeks designing a database for my company.
The problem is I have started running into what I believe are stack
overflow problems. There are two tab controls on the form (nested),
three list views, one tree control with up to 30,000 nodes, maybe 15
comboboxes (half of which have a large recordset as rowsource), 20 or
so buttons and around 30 text boxes (not to mention the images,
labels, etc and around 1000 lines...

Hi All,
I am not sure if I should be asking this question on clc or clc++. Let me try on
both. I hope that this is not too trivial for the brilliant minds over here.
I know that OOP questions have been asked on clc before so it is probably OK.
I am a newbie to C++. BS 3rd edition states:
% The throw transfers control to a handler for exceptions ....

What's the best way of implementing a multi-node tree in C++? What I'm
trying to do is traverse a tree of possible chess moves given an intial
position (at the root of the tree). Since every chess position has
around 30 moves, it would mean every node of the tree would have 30
branches (on average), which in turn themselves would average about 30
branches each.
I can think of a variety of ways of implementing this, including a
series...

I have implemented an RPN calculator in python but now I would like to
make the stack size fixed. how can I transform the user's RPN
expression from a stack overflow to a computable expression.
For instance, if my stack size is 2 then the some expression can't be
computed but could be transformed as following:
Non computable expression: 1 2 3 + + --stack size of 3 is needed
Computable expression: 1 2 + 3 + --stack size of 2...

Hi, Im having some problems with my program. I'm kinda new to this stuff; only been doing this for about a month. What it's suppose to do is ask the user to input a word, and then print out the word in reverse order. It's basically using the pop/push idea...sorta. I've tried a variety of ways to convert the string to char to get it to print, but all of them havent worked. Any ideas?
Here's where I ended up...
#include <iostream.h>...

I send a lot of requests to the application (running on a different
box, of course), and I receive back responses from the app .
Below: socket corresponds to Socket socket=new
Socket(AddressFamily.InterNetwork, SocketType.Stream,
ProtocolType.Tcp);

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
