Hi,
When compiling Sketch's streamfilter C extension the errors below are
raised during linking. What could cause the errors?
(Python 2.3, MinGw 1.1 with GCC 2.95.3-6, Windows 98)

I have been struggling compiling linkchecker from
http://linkchecker.sourceforge.net/. The last thing I get is "error:
command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1" which is not very helpful.
This is with Python 2.4.1 on Solaris 2.8. Can anyone help? Thank you.

I am learning c through an online tutorial currently. And I
am running Linux, but the tutorial does not deal specifically
with linux. I'm not sure if I am compiling correctly or not
because I get errors when running the compiled program when
using: gcc hellow_world.c which created a file called hello.cs.
Now for some reason after deleting hello.cs I only get a file
called a.out when I compile which runs with no problems.

Can anyone shed some light on why compiling and running web-apps is so slow
in VS2005. I have a solution with 3 web-apps, 20 or so library projects and
several winforms apps. All in all it totals about 150,000 lines of C#.
I've only just converted this to VS2005 project but am frustrated with the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
