domino

Hi guys, anyone knows the algorithm of the domino game? i was thinking
at the shortest common substring algorithm, but it doesn't work
because when you play, you can turn the dominos ,it must be something
with dymanic programming.. anyone has an idea?

No. That's because there is no such thing as _the_ domino game. There
are many.

Also: do your own damned homework.

Since this is a question about an algorithm rather than the C
language, your question is likely to be better responded to in
comp.programmin g for one.

I'm working on a new system that my superiors have determined should use LDAP for it's authentication and user management. Not real bad, but it's proving to be a bit of a hassel. I'm using a Lotus Domino server for the LDAP part. If, in the ldap_search(...) function I pass it "o=myCompany" for the dn parameter (the second parameter), I only get back the list of users, not the groups. I only want back the groups in this instance. ...

I discovered, with great excitement, this article http://www.davison.uk.net/vb2notes.asp when researching methods for emailing from Access via Notes. Unfortunatly, when I run this I get a Run-time error. When I run it on an XP machine it crashes, but on an NT box it just generates an unknown error, handled by the error handler. I have debugged and stepped through the code and have narrowed the issue to the point at which the...

I am desperately trying to create a login page in ASP.NET in which a user can be authenticated against a Domino Directory but for the life of me, I cannot even find anything remotely close to this on the internet. It's like nobody has ever needed to do this. I already did it in a ColdFusion page and I'm amazed at how incredibly easy it was using the CFLDAP tag. I would have thought that a task like this would have been equally easy in...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
