Serialize Problem

Hi
I am new to vc++,
I created the class derived from CObject,
I want to implement serialize meyhod in that class
the code is:
The Class name New and declaration
class New : public CObject
{
public:
DECLARE_SERIAL( New);
virtual void Serialize(CArch ive& ar);
public:
New();

//virtual void Serialize(CArch ive& ar);
virtual ~New();

};
and in the Defintion part or in cpp file.

I implement the macro as
IMPLEMENT_SERIA L(New, CObject, 1);
New::New()
{

}

New::~New()
{

}

But it shows the error as unresolved external symbol "public: virtual void __thiscall New::Serialize( class CArchive &)"

Why it comes i declared correctly, but it shows error.

You declared this in class New but you never coded it.
