VC++ 6 IDE Tutorial REQUIRED

6 New Member
Hi there,

I am looking for a tutorial/user guide for MS VC++ 6 IDE (which is a part of the MS Visual Studio 6).

- The tutorial should explain the use of VC++ IDE.
- It should explain all the menu options/ functionalities provided as a part of the IDE.
- It should also explain about the debugger and other tools that are often used /provided with the VC++ IDE.

I am a trainee embedded engineer who has just entered the world of embedded programming :)

Hope this will help other members on the forum who are looking for a similar resource.

Cheers!

-Sandy

I have to use a COM DLL written by another person, and am having trouble. Part of the problem is that I am writing inside another DLL (non-COM), and do not know what has been CoInitialized or CoCreated yet by the calling program. Is there an Online tutorial somewhere that you could recommend for me to learn how to handle situations like this? I am a complete newbie to COM, so I would need something that isn't too super-advanced. In...

Posted by Banfa The previous tutorial discussed what programming is, what we are trying to achieve, the answer being a list of instructions constituting a valid program. Now we will discuss how we set about doing that. Every program starts with a specification, this may be a several hundred page document from your latest client or one small paragraph from your professor and pretty much anything in-between. The specification is very...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
