You will need to extract this data from your OS somehow. (You didn't say what system your using so I can't yet tell you exactly)

What system are you running on?

Using Xerces2 Java I'm trying to validate a CSV data following an XNI example <http://xml.apache.org/xerces2-j/xni-config.html#examples>. The CSV scanner generates XML tree events like: <csv> <row> <col>Andy Clark</col> <col>16 Jan 1973</col> <col>Cincinnati</col>

Hi, I've just upgraded my gcc and I'm currently trying to compile some code for my own operating system kernel, but I am getting an error of "Undefined reference to `memcpy`" when I try to link it using the GNU linker. I do not reference the symbol memcpy explicitly anywhere in the offending function. I have narrowed the offending code down to the initialisation of an array of pointers to char (i.e. an array of strings), which is given...

Is there something wrong in there? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Types A type is a definition for a sequence of storage bits. It gives the meaning of the data stored in memory. If we say that the object a is an

HI, I posted this to sqlalchemy but didnt get a response, so I was wondering if anyone on python-list could help me. I m currently trying to build an api for a database and I really like the way that Djangos manager ( Class_name.objects ) is set up. This seems very intuitive for me. After reading through the some of the django source and getting slightly confused I ve implemented a basic version for one of my tables. The problem is I...

Hi, is there any way forward declare a covariant return type (and is it a language feature or extension only)? I have class, class CompModel; class CompWorker{ public: virtual CompModel& model(); /// forward declaration works as usual.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
