Hi
I have recently been having trouble with the edit items in both the context
menu and edit menu in vs.net designer.
On the context menu, the only items that are not disabled are 'View code'
and 'Change name and text properties'.
On the edit drop down only the 'Find and replace' menu item is enabled.
This sometimes resolves itself when I close the form and re-open or close VS

can someone kind enough to help me look at the attached html and js
file? Why is it that the javascript menu could not work at
www.apchosting.net but could work at
http://home.pacific.net.sg/~jacksony ? (the drop down bar could not work
at www.apchosting.net but can drop at home.pacific.net.sg. I suspect it
is a server problem but was told it is not possible, therefore assuming
it is a client script problem? the script works last time...

I have a ToolBarButton that when I set it to disabled (button.Enabled =
false;) causes a really ugly gray masking effect to take place. This is
normal and the intended way of the button, but I would like to clean it up.
Instead of using the gray mask, I want to use my own grayscaled high quality
image. I thought by simply setting button.ImageIndex = new_num; (where
new_num is the index of the grayscale image) I could do this. But alas, that...

I'm using Visual Web Developer 2005 Express edition. Trying to
generate resources for a page, but the "Generate Local Resource" menu
item is always grayed out (disabled). I have the desired page open in
design view and from what I understand, it's all that's required to use
that tool. Thanks in advance!

i have a simple rtfbox with a couple text boxes, i want to paste some
rtf text into the rtfbox.
I added a rtf box to a blank form and tested that a rtf box handles a
paste automatically. it does.
once i add a menu bar the rtfbox no longer accepts pasted text.
it took me a bit to fgure this out. now i want to find out why and how
to fix it. i would like to add a menubar.

I have a pulldown menu that contains five options, and ten input fields. Depending on which option is selected, the field(s) will either be enabled or disabled.
I am able to use javascript to do this with radio buttons, but I do not know how to do it with the pulldowns.
I am new to javascript and trying to learn as I go along.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I have been looking around for a way to apply the filter that grays out a
form or div. I found some examples but the code is pretty complex. Any
simple ways to gray that out so I can highlight another form or div?
Thanks,
Mica
PS. I looked at several of the 'easy' examples and they did not work when I
applied them.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
