What is the best way to transfer variables to and from a dialog box? My
project consists of a form with a number of controls, lets say three Labels,
when a label is clicked it opens a dialog box with a text box in it and the
text box data will be returned to the label that was clicked. Don't laugh

How I can refresh a modal dialog in asp.net?
I open a modal dialog in first with a dropdownlist. To add a element in my
dropdownlist (table), I open a second modal dialog to ask element and save.
When I return in my first modal dialog, dropdownlist is not refreshed.
I don't know how to refresh my first modal dialog to view my new element in
the dropdownlist.

Hi. I have a modal dialog whcih has a "Browse..." button which pops
up a file selector. This all works fine, but the first thing the user
has to do when they open the dialog is select a file, so I would like
the dialog to automatically call the onBrowse function as soon as the
dialog opens. However, I don't know how to do this.

onBrowse()

How can I capture the name of the file a user right clicks in the open
file dialog using the common dialog box control?
I can capture the name if a file is double clicked, or OPEN is clicked
after selecting a file, or CANCEL clicked, but if they choose to right
click on a file and choose OPEN WITH option, then I can't seem to get

In VB6, a custom dialog can be easily created by adding a new form, adding
whatever controls you like, sizing it as you like, adding code and then just
loading/unloading it whenever you like.
Using Access 07, a form is a little different beast and it would appear a
custom dialog cannot be created in the same way.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
