Hi, let's see an application is sitting on a server elsewhere, and it is
accessed via http:// or by just the location specified by \\servername. So
on first request the app is downloaded, on subsequent requests, there is a
check to see if the app was modified since the last time.
Now, I tried stopping IIS after running the app initially, so that the

The dll problem is fixed (forgot to include the target:library in csc.
But
the server name problem is still there.? Also, I thought the point of
the
General assembly in the code, was that you did not have to copy the
server
code to the client or client code to the server and you just use the
General.dll on both the client and server sides.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wrote an ASP.net application in VB.net.
It works fine on my XP machine.
However, it cannot works in my NT4.0+IIS4 machine.
It works fine with ASP program .
I installed .net framework 1.1 on that machine.
When I browse the web site,I can read my VB.net code in my browser.
