Hi All,
I need to copy strings from a single dimensional array to a double
dimensional array.
Here is my program.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>

Actually, how would I go about allocating a four-dimensional dynamic
array?
I only know how to make two dimensional dynamic arrays:
double **v;
v = new double*;
for (int i=0; i<C; i++)
{
v = new double;
}

To anyone that is more intelligent than me or just knows better, I
could use some help.
I am attemping to write a simple program that will created a random
maze that will only require for information the cell length and height
of the maze. I am going to use a dynamicly created 2 dimensional array
based on the size parameters given. This is what I have currently:
// Constructor takes the two size parmeters and builds the array....

I'm sure I saw this mentioned somewhere, but I can't find it. How can I
dynamically allocate a multi-dimensional array in C++?
My next question, if this gets figured out, is if I should use the delete
command to remove it, or would that be delete ?

I used to work with C and have a set of libraries which allocate
multi-dimensional arrays(2 and 3) with single malloc call.
data_type **myarray
= (data_type**)malloc(widht*height*sizeof(data_type)+ height*
sizeof(data_type*));
//allocate individual addresses for row pointers.
Now that I am moving to C++,am looking for something by which I can

I'm trying to pass an array of string to a function without knowing how
many strings I have beforehand.
I've defined one functions as
char * insert(char table,int cols, char values);
out of deperation because when I defined it as
char * insert(char table,int cols, char values)

All this time I was under the illusion that I understand the concept of
multi-dimensional arrays well ---- however the following code snippet
belies my understanding.
I had assumed all along that a declaration like:
int intArray
means that there is an array of pointers to int with a size of 5, each
of whose elements is an array of int with a size of 3.
This definition seemed intuitive to me since a declaration like

hi all,
i am trying to create a dynamic 2D array with size N x 3 (N will be
put in as a parameter) using the following code:
int **xyz;
int i,N;
N=30000;

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
