The difflib.py module and the diff.py tools script in Python 2.4 alpha
3 now support generating side by side (with intra line differences) in
HTML format. I have found this useful for performing build release
comparisons (I use a script to generate a main page showing all the
files that were changed in a build with hyperlinks to side by side...

When I have several header files with "namespace x {}" in each, the
resulting doxygen documentation lists the Namespace exactly as often as
there are header files with that namespace in. Thats only at Modules ->
<module name> -> Namespaces.
Am I doing something unusual?

I'm using Doxygen for the first time and really impressed with how
simple it is to use and how elegant the output is. The only problem
I'm having is trying to figure out how to shut off the duplication of
the class member descriptions.
In my output, each of my classes has a section titled "myClass Class
Description" which starts off with...

I have looked through the docs for the XML documentation tags in the
C# Programmer's Reference, and I haven't come across a "MAINPAGE" tag
like you find in Doxygen. This tag is nice for when you want to give
the reader a broad overview of your software architecture and then
give them links to the main software blocks. Does anyone have any...

Hi all,
I have a big C++ project, and I used my own way of commenting the functions and the header file. Here is an example of one of my commented function

Method :mAddAKid.
Description :Add a kid to the Queue.
Note : None.

What tagged comment syntax do you use to document C++/CLI code ?
As far as I know, doxygen does not currently support C++/CLI.
Are there other/similar tools?
Does Microsoft provide an equivalent solution?
(the more XML-like syntax used in C#?)
Thanks -Ivan

The above is an example of what the output should look like.
I ran Doxygen on a simple program that I wrote to test
Doxygen, and all of the Call Graph Images were missing. The
Doxygen output indicated that it did generate the Call
Graph, showing where the images should be in the HTML
output, but,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
