Is
( cont.begin() == cont.end() )
essentially equivalent to writing
( cont.empty() )
for a STL container ?

Greetings c.l.c...
I am trying to understand some structure definitions in working code
(e.g. compiles, runs & produces expected results) that I have. I
think I've trimmed the code to what is relevant to my question...
Which is: What is the (*vector) in the "struct function" declaration.
What is that line doing?
My best guess is that it is a function definition that returns a struct

FYI, mostly. But I do have questions as to how to write code
that will continue to work in subsequent postgresql versions.
See code below.
begintest() uses EXIT to exit a BEGIN block from within nested
loops. No problem.
begintest2() simplifies this, omitting the nested loops.
Still no problem.

vpMyClass.push_back(new CMyClass());
vpMyClass.push_back(new CMyClass());

SQL Server 2000 SP4. Hoping to find a logical explanation for a certain
behavior.
Consider this script:
USE pubs
GO
IF 1 = ALL (SELECT contract FROM dbo.authors WHERE state = 'CA')
PRINT 'TRUE'

Hi all,
I am having a memory blank at the moment. I have been writing in C# for a
number of years and now need to do something in VB.NET, so forgive me such a
primitive question.
In C#, I test whether a string has a value or not by the following syntax:
if (thisString.Trim() == "")

Is there a way to check the order in which SET INTEGRITY needs to be
applied? This would be for a script with a dynamic list of TABLEs.

Dear all :
I am not good at programming, please give a hand.
My data structure is very similar as an array. I actually can use the
std::vector as container to organize my data objects. However, the
behaviours of std::vector::iterator can not meet my requirements. I
need to redefine the vector::iterator's behavious such as ++. It means
"next position in the object sequence" in STL but now I redefine it to
mean "next position within a 2-d...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
