Go to a proper newsgroup. Google.

<OT>
Read the man page for time, something like man time should work.

The manual page ("man time") will probably be helpful.

This is not a C question. If "man time" doesn't give you enough
information, try asking in comp.os.linux.q uestions.

I don't think anyone could explain you. You're just a fact of nature.

In Linux, we have `man` command for documenting commands (and
other things).

Don't you have anyone local you can work with for this sort
of thing? Face-to-face or class interaction is *much* more
effective than Usenet drip-feeds.

Hi, I have a question about os.times(). os.times() returns a tuple containing user time and system time, but it is not matched to the result of 'time' command. For example, os.times() reports that user time is 39.85 sec, but 'time' command reports that user time is 28.55sec. (machine: Python2.5, MacOS X 10.4 Tiger, MacBook 1.83GHz intel core duo)

Hi All, I am a network administrator in a fairly large software company and I would like to write myself a small utility, which would connect (one by one) to all machines on the network and get their current date and time stamps. This is mostly because of coming DST changes and having hundreds of machines on the network, I don't want to connect remotely to every and each server to see if the time is correct.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
