Projection of fractal surfaces

Hi,
I am trying to take a parallel projection of a real-life
surface(fractal surface) on series of 2D planes(that is X-Y, Y-Z, Z-X
planes). The idea then is to concentrate on any particular patch of the
surface and possibly extract some useful features out of it.

Can somebody please provide me with some link/free code(may be only for
the function, I don't need the complete source code) or somekind of
reference where it is made freely available.
Thanking you all in advance
- Anirban

Sure you want a *projection*, rather than a cross-section?

Hi, folks! It's been too long since there's been a good dependency-bashing debate! Despite the many fine, free tools out there to help manage dependencies, I've always thought that there was something missing. So if you feel like it, do visit the site below and click on: Fractal.

I would appreciate advice on how best to formulate the following problem in Python. I have originally posted the problem to the J Programming forum and received a one-line formulation ((#s) (|.s)&(+/@:*)\ I)! I was wondering what the equivalent Python formulation would be. The Problem: The enrolment E(n) of an institution at the beginning of year n is the sum of the intake for year n, I(n), and the survivors from the intakes

X-posted to opera.page-authoring, because this is a bit Opera-specific for the moment. F'up to ciwas. I am playing around with dedicated styling for the projection media type.. Currently the only browser to support it is Opera, which uses projection when in full-screen mode. On a website I maintain (http://www.jules-verne.nl/), I have set up some special styles for projection. Not that this specific website really needs it, but...

Hi. Just wanted to inform you that the code for the C++ fractal program has been taken down, the one that I had been debugging and was discussed in the threads "Bug in my C++ program seems really strange" and "Frustrating bug in C++ program", which now seem dead (hence why I didn't post this in either of them, I didn't know if it would get seen.). I wanted to thank you for your help, and I hope I can make this program better. Besides,...

I have 2 surfaces in DirectX. Both are the same width and height. What's the fastest way to determine if both the surfaces have exactly the same image? Is there some hardware acceleration available to pull off something like this?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
