I'm sure Ben realizes by now (after the second post by Nomen
Nescio) that at least the second post was a troll of sorts;
and of course the OP wasn't really asking any "question" at
all. Still, I agree with whoever-it-was-earlier who said that
Ben's little spiel is very factual, and pretty effective, and
wouldn't it be nice if that were the *only* thing posted in
off-topic threads from now on?
So I don't care if Ben posts that message in reply to *all*
non-spamming OT posts here. As long as you, ERT, don't post
followups to them, thus making me think there's actual
conversation going on in them. :) I'm a very simple-minded
person, and will ignore any OT-looking subject line unless it
reappears several times on my screen. Which means I waste an
inordinate amount of time reading flamewars, and I didn't
bother to read that "loan Repayment" thread over in acllc-c++
until it was about a dozen responses along... ;-)

I disagree. It appears to me that Ben knows very well that you're a troll.
In fact, I think most of us do, so you don't need your self-identification
line any more. I may have missed it, but I also don't recall Ben recently
making any attempt to convince you of anything.
