Title: What are the Consequences of Aspx page separate from app DLL
Hi JL;
I am working on a big asp.net application.
When we migrate the dll (or dlls) to the production server, all users
who are login into the application are pumped off. In fact we must
close down the server (to preserve users from being logged on and
thinking they are updating data when it is in fact lost when we move
the dlls to the the applications bin directory)....

Hi!
I have made a form with two SELECT LIST-boxes where the first is dynmically
filled when you enter the page, and then one can select multiple options
from the list and move across to the other box using javascript. Every
option in the list has an integer value.
The FORM is submitted with the POST method and received on an ASP page. I
then want to manage the selected options one by one. How can I separate
them?

I'm trying to isolate "applications" into their own application domain within
a single process. I've quoted applications because it's a logical
representation of an application. Basically it consists of a bunch of
components supplied by some application group. I got this to work, somewhat.
The problem is that the application performs roughly (and this has not been
measured, but a guess based on the rendering of the application GUI) 10x...

I use Process.Start to open a URL in the user's browser.
When I call the function normally, it works fine. However, when I call it
from a separate thread, I get an error: "The requested section was not
present in the activation context".
The only C# newsgroup thread dealing with this error blames it on a Main
function that is missing the attribute - but my Main function
has this attribute.

I have a data list of over 1,000 spare parts. I set it up with a master data
list in a separate workbook and data validation works fine. I need
autocomplete so I tried inserting a combo box with VB and works fine if the
data list is in the same workbook only. How can I make it work so that it
refers to a separate workbook?
