Having a problem displaying both german and chinese characters from a
UTF-8 database on the same *.jsp page.
Can make Chinese characters appear correctly by including the following
lines:

A very very basic UTF-8 question that's driving me nuts:
If I have this in the beginning of my Python script in Linux:

# -*- coding: UTF-8 -*-
should I - or should I not - be able to use non-ASCII characters
in strings and in Tk GUI button labels and GUI window titles and in
raw_input data without Python returning wrong case in manipulated

Hi everyone,
Can someone help me please? I am using a form which imports a .csv
file's data into a temporary table called tblQuestImport_csvraw. The
problem is that I am working with a German character set here -
whenever I import some text with those special characters, I get the
wrong data in my temporary table. For example, ä becomes ÷, ö
becomes an o with a little stripe above it, and ü becomes the sign
used for expressing a value...

Sorry to bother you, but I just don't know how to get tsearch2 configured correctly for my setup. I've got a 7.4.3 database-cluster initdb'ed with de_DE@euro as locale, the database is with Unicode encoding.

Not really a C#-specific comment, more general .net observations.
1) A while back I found the need to determine whether or not a particular
StringComparer was case-insensitive. The best way I found was to use
Reflection to access the private _ignoreCase field, which I'd rather not do.
It seems to me that a public readonly property would be helpful. (Better yet,
it should probably have a CompareOptions)
