Trying to find link to 'C++ Annotations' by Frank Brokken

I am trying to find a link to the 'C++ Annotations' by Frank Brokken (I
think Version 5.2.4 is the latest) that works because I've been unable to
find one that does. Can anyone suggest anything?

The first link that came up on Google when I searched for:
"c++ annotations" brokken
worked:
http://oopweb.com/CPP/Documents/CPPA...s/Volume2.html

(and if that doesn't work for you, try the 2nd, or 3rd, or...)

Hi folks, what I would like to do is to store the name of a link, such as link1.php in a field, lets say the field is called Favoritelinks, in a database as a bit of text. Then, on a logged in page, pull the value from the field and put in right in the <a href><a> tag so that the link now points to a file, and is dynamic. And, depending on the username and password, the value taken from Favoritelinks changes. What Im after is to...

Well, this is my first attempt at DHTML so I'm asking for some pointers, hopefully in the right groups, follow-up is set. I'm currently working on another translation of an english text and I'd like to add some annotations/comments. However, I want the translated text to be first read without my comments so the reader can make up his mind based on the original text only. It should look like this:

I'm very new to xml, and struggling a bit.. I want to use an .xsd file passed to a windows application to define a dataset's schema, and also (if possible) pass other metadata associated with given elements of the schema (tables and columns) that the application also requires. I've guessed that Annotations are a way to do this, so added <xs:annotation> elements to the xsd file (see example below). I can set up the dataset fine:

I posted a question before (to too many groups) and this time I am sending to this group only. I have a quick script as seen below, the file_list table has a unique field called file_name. The problem I am having is that if no unique items exist, this will insert into the table fine. But if a unique item does exist it will not insert as it should. My problem is that I can not get access to return any kind of error. This is very...

How the code annotations ( __in_opt, __out, __checkReturn ... ) are supposed to work ? Are they part of the new MS C language (that's, real tokens understood by the compiler), or always #define'd as nothing and interpreted by some external tools? Regards, --PA

Tom, It sounds to me like ASP, not ASP.NET is handling the request for WebForm1.aspx. This is most likely an IIS config issue that may have been caused by order of installation or reinstallation, or possibly even something that happened in IIS before .NET was installed. Here is a way to prove or disprove my theory:

Is there any official proposal for annotations in C++0x? So far annotations have been "implicitly" used in many proposals as some (usually) free-form text enclosed in ] (for example, n2493, n2509, n1943 - not used in later updates). Is there any consistent proposal for the general mechanism of annotations? -- // _ ___ Michal "Sektor" Malecki <sektor(whirl)kis.p.lodz.pl>

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
