Hi!
I was trying to find the solution to this problem, but I don't think I
could quite come up with the correct keywords to find it, since I'm
pretty sure it's been asked before. In short, here's the situation
(ignore missing namespaces, etc, since I'm not cut-pasting this..)

Hello,
I was experimenting with class templates and specializing member
functions and came across a simple problem which I can't figure out.
I have a simple class C with 2 template member objects, and a function
print() that prints the value of these objects. I defined a
specialization of print() for C<string, char> which is called
correctly. Then I wanted...

This question has undoubtedly come up zillions of times before, but I've not
been able to google for an answer. My problem can be reproduced as follows:
template<typename T, bool b>
struct bad
{
void f(T const& t);
};
// wanting to specialise for b = true

Hi,
Why doesn't this work? (tried with gcc 3.3.3 and VC++ 7.1):
#include <iostream>
template<class T, unsigned N>
struct Foo {
void func();
};
template<class T, unsigned N>

Hi,
I am having trouble with templates. In a non-template class, I have
a template function. Now I want to be able to execute different code for
all pointer types. But I cannot get the syntax right. Here is small
snippet demonstrating the problem.
struct bar
{
template <typename T>

Hi,
I'm writing a small wrapper for libcurl. For Options I use:
template<typename T, long CURLOPT_ID>
class CurlOption: boost::noncopyable
{
public:
typedef typename boost::call_traits<T>::param_type param_type;
typedef typename boost::call_traits<T>::reference reference;

So which compiler is correct, gcc (which only requires bar() to be
declared at the point of insantiation of foo()) or comeau?
What happens if you just move the bar() function to be before the
foo() function in both source files? (It's not like this was critical
from the point of view of my original post.)

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
