Document explorer 9 in 2008 always crashes

Hi

Im sorry i know this is not the right newsgroup for this question, but
i cant get a response anyware else and cannot find anything to help me
on the net.

My boss has tasked me with trying visual studio 2008, and the install
all went fine, but the doucment explorer always xrashes every single
time i try to use it.

I cannot access any help files locally or on the net. All i get is a
few seconds, then the crash, and asking for the error to be sent to MS

Anyone anywhere please help. I cant believe such a problem exists in a
new product like this

thanks for any help
