Web file transfer

Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you out there who have real-world experience with
restartable (if transfer interuppted) internet-based file transfer solutions
would mind posting your comments, experiences, horror stories, and
recommendations so I can get a better idea on the pros and cons of the
various methods .Net provides.

I have my own ideas on the best way to go about it, BITS, Remoting etc but I
value the knowledge of others who have gone before me.
Any info appreciated,

Slug

Have a look at Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), which is part of the
..Net 3.0 platform.

Have you actually used this yourself...? I was after real world experiences
so would be interested to hear what you have done and how you went about
it....

I rather not inflict another .Net Framework install on my clients if I don't
have a solid reason to do so.
Cheers
