help with the calendar control in Windows.Forms

Hi,
I am trying to create a Calendar which keeps track of birthdays, anniversaries etc. I am using the calendar control which comes with Windows.Forms. Let's suppose there is a birthday on the 19th and an anniversary on the 24th. What I want is the 19th of the month to have a blue background and the 24th to have a red background. I only have found the MakeBold property which does not suit this purpose. I know how to get it working in ASP.NET using the DayRender event. However, since this is Windows.Forms I am unable to find the same thing.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.
