Hi, I'm trying to bind a custom collection class to a data grid, following the guidelines from the article http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/05/08/CollectionsandDataBinding/default.aspx. In VB6 my practice was to set control properties at Run Time rather than Design Time. I found setting property values in the code provided better documentation, since much of this was hidden - and if there were problems with a control dll setting values were preserved and not "lost" to the domain of searching code using a DOS editor. ...

Is there a way to capture click events in the form designer? I'm trying to create a control similar to the TabControl (which seems to handle clicks in design mode) and would like to be able to click on parts of the control in design mode and have the control react, but I can't seem to trap the events in design mode. - Don

And Panel control doesn't support SetTopLevel method etc. I tried this while Dock=Fill and...

I have a project that has inherited forms and it seems at times the code is running on the children forms during design time making me more work to try to detect that I am in design mode and have the forms not run. 1) Why does this happen? 2) Suggestions on what to do? Many thanks and happy holidays, Scott Emick VB Programmer

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
