Hello,
Is there a way to display Crystal Report file without depending on the
Win form with CrystalReportViewer control in it, such as evoke the
Crystal Report engine directly or something like that?
I am trying to find way to avoid creating Form for each report(out of
a couple of hundreds reports).
What is the best practice of solving this? Has someone done this

I want to call a general purpose webservice that will return a dataset with
the required data for a given report.
Each '.rpt' file is stored on a users PC, where I want to pass a
ReportID to it and display its data in a crystal report viewer control on a
windows form.
Each of the different reports can have lots of joins to other tables...
wether this has any relevance i dont know.

I have created a SQL 2000 table wiht a field as an Image datatype . I saved few .gif files and .bmp files. My problem is thati am able to view only .bmp files through crystal report 7 andnot any other format. I am very sure that my .gif files areproperly saved in the data base because i am able to view themback from database to VB6 Imagecontrol. Please help me viewingmy other picture files in Crystal reprot 7 ....

I've created a fresh Crystal Report in Visual Studio .NET 2003.
I'm aware of the problem that Crystal Reports .NET have by default.
I'm trying to pass a string parameter to my report.
If my string is longer than 254 characters I get this error: "value
does not fall within the expected range".
Bussines Objects provides a solution to this error -> install the hot
fix service pack.

Hello
Here is my issue, I created a crystal report using a data set from my
xsd. Then I created a page with the crystal report viewer control and
bound the report to it.
When I try to view the report on the browser I get a logon page even
though my dataset has a connection string saved within it. When I
preview the data in the dataset I see it no problem. however the
report doesn't seem to know that the dataset is there or that the

Hi All,
I have a crystal report document which is opened from my asp.net 2.0 application (C# code). In the design time i fixed my date fields as MM/dd/yyyy format.
but now we are going to implement the project in different culture. so now i need to change the format of date field at run time thru asp.net 2.0 (C#).

Hi there
in my settings section i created a place for company details, Uploading a picture means it will load a picture and save the string of where it can be found to the db(access). Now on my crystal report i wan t to be able to basically just fetch that image from that string and display it on my imagebox on the crystal report
any help on how i will go about on dong that?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
