Why does multi-line fax modem not use all lines to broadcast faxes?

8 New Member
Hi everyone,

I'm using C#, Windows Vista, faxcomexlib dll. my modem is a multi port fax modem (8 lines).

I have two working fax lines connected to my fax modem. when I test each line separately, both are working. When I plug them both and try to send more than one fax at a time, only one line is used, even if both lines are connected and perfectly working.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you!

Hi, I was trying to make a out going call through the voice modem, play a audio file and disconnect. With the XTAPI implementation of the JTAPI I am able to do it with an analog phone line. The XTAPI forum and the docs on sourceforge.net were really helpful. Now what my real aim was to do this whole thing using a mobile phone connected to a laptop which is on a vehicle. I was using a Motorola i88s phone which has a builtin modem and it is...

I'm setting up a small network of 3 WinXp Pro machines and a shared Access database. I need to be able to send faxes from the copy of Access that's running on any of the machines, using VBA. I've established that the WinXP fax software does not allow sharing, so I'm thinking about using Winfax 10 (apparently this version works on XP). I've not had any experience of WinFax.

NEWBIE QUESTION How Can I Fax An Existing PDF File Via MS Fax From MS Access Using VBA? Using MS Access As A User Interface to enable users to search for various electronic records stored as PDF files. Once a desired record is located, the user can email or fax one or more corresponding PDF files to contacts stored in the database. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
