I need to change a column value in several thousand records in a table
and output a list of the record ids of the records I've updated into
another table.
The table, however, is being used by other users via a website, so I

We've got users sharing a database where the front end apps reside on
the local PC while the backend app is on the network. We have
repeated problems where certain users lock the database causing other
users to get the Run-time error , currently locked
by user 'admin' on machine 'xyz' when trying to log into the database.

How does one handle the situation where two different users are looking at
bound forms that display data from a table.
User #1 makes a change to the data, but User #2 is just perusing the data.
User#1 has his bound form updated, but User#2 does not.
In this case User #2 is not seeing the actual current state of the data,
unless he/she does something to cause the data to refresh.
How do developers handle this, if at all?

I have a website that requires users to login. We track them by using
sessions. We record the time and date that they login, their session
id, the last page they visited, etc in a database. As as admin, I
would like to be able to login and force a logout of other users logged
in. Is this possible? I have looked online but there doesn't seem to

Basically, I want to see the cell's data more-exposed and less-exposed
*while* I'm resizing the column.
Is this even possible? Would I have to derive off of DataGrid and do
it myself somehow? I've got general Windows "Show Window Contents

Hello, I try to connect directly to views of one of other users of a sid. With Oracke SQL Developer, I see that the view I need is in :
Connection -> RMSP -> Other users -> RMS -> Views.
When I do a connection with VisualBasic and a Oracle ODBC, I go in :
Connection -> RMSP -> Views.
Where and what do I change to go directly in the good views ?
Change in tnsname.ora ? in Oracle ODBC Driver Configuration ? in VisualBasic ?

there are 2 other user who are limited users.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
